No One Left Out #NOLO

Oasis asked RAW Brothers to create their 40th anniversary campaign. This was very personal to us as we have worked with Oasis since the late 80's. To have the opportunity to help them frame those 40 years with a view to their next chapter is a privilege. And so the No One Left Out #NOLO thought was born.

THE CHALLENGE

Oasis was founded by Steve Chalke in 1985 with a vision for community transformation. The first Oasis project was No.3 in Peckham—a house that is still operating today. They now run 54 Oasis Academy schools in areas of high inequality. Oasis provides food banks, job clubs, debt advice services, family support, and youth work. They have pioneered the fight against human trafficking and have just opened the UK’s first secure school. How do we sum this up in their 40th year?

THE INSPIRATION

Oasis had a clear purpose: to build stronger communities together. We had helped create the Oasis brand symbol, the ‘Circle of Inclusion,’ some years earlier — this held the key to the creative solution for Oasis’ 40th Anniversary. We knew we needed to capture an essence that summed up who Oasis was — both an internal and external clarion call — one that everyone could align with. No One Left Out (#NOLO) was the result of a robust brand strategy process, developed in collaboration with the senior team and Oasis advocates.

THE RESULTS

No One Left Out is a commitment to do more to overturn exclusion where action and investment are vitally needed. It’s a clarion call from within those communities together with the voice of those united in the fight against injustice. RAW Brothers developed a full campaign roadmap, including brand strategy, look and feel, tone of voice, and wrote and directed the No One Left Out short film. Working with our partner on this project, Yeomans, we delivered a full year of campaign creative strategy for the Oasis 40th anniversary.

No One Left Out is our commitment to do more to overturn exclusion in three key priority areas, where action and investment are vitally needed. But we can’t do it alone. We need you to join us this year and support however you can, so that together we can create a world where there’s no one left out.
