Community of Hope
ECC is a vibrant, multicultural church community based in West London. With deep roots in the area and a growing outward-facing vision, they approached us to help reframe their identity for a new season of purpose and impact. Owning a striking 1930s former cinema, they needed a brand that could honour their heritage while boldly looking forward - through strategic storytelling, visual identity, and space transformation.

THE CHALLENGE
Ealing Christian Centre, a well-established and diverse church community in West London, approached us at a pivotal moment. With a renewed outward-facing vision and a desire to better connect with the local community, they needed a complete reframe of their identity. Housed in a distinctive 1930s cinema building, they were looking for a name, purpose, and visual language that could honour their legacy while propelling them into a more engaging and accessible future.

THE INSPIRATION
Our work began by guiding the leadership team through our for-purpose brand strategy process - helping them rediscover who they are, clarify what they stand for, and define where they’re heading. From this journey, a new name was born: Ealing Community Church - clearer, more welcoming, and more recognisable to the wider public. We also developed a new purpose statement, “A Community of Hope”, which became the heartbeat of their message and mission. The brand now reflects a church that is empathetic, charismatic, and caring — a spiritual home that celebrates diversity, creativity, and transformation.

THE RESULTS
The outcome was a confident and vibrant rebrand, grounded in clarity and mission. We delivered a full strategic and creative rollout, including naming, purpose and values, tone of voice, visual identity, social media templates, signage, and campaign messaging. We also reviewed the role of their iconic 1930s cinema - reimagining it not just as a place of worship, but as a cultural and spiritual beacon in the heart of the neighbourhood. Ealing Community Church now stands with renewed identity and purpose, ready to connect more deeply with its community and city.
