Ship building EC3

Here's a peak behind the scenes of our work at Skuld Marine Insurance

This job required a level of research yet to be under taken by the RAW brothers. Sourcing highly relevant artefacts to help tell the story behind the highly successful Norwegian ship insurers Skuld. The giant reef knot shown above is from the same ship yard that supplied the rope to Nelson's Victory. rich-and-andy-ward-skuld-designers

The RAW scroll featured throughout this project helping steer the client through the new brand environment vision and helped keep the joiners and signage manufacturers on track.

A little trip to the joiners workshop to ensure the giant ship cases were on track and to spec. These cases were designed to house the highly valuable replica model ships at the heart of the new brand environment. Oh yes, it was winter, so the joiners stove kept us warm :).

Finally on to site and a very delicate job of transferring the ships to their new home. The project also included creating a historic journey through the client's history using rare artefacts from their history including the first flag to reach both north and south pole. A rare shot gun rescued from an insured wreck, more large reef knots and some rare stamps that illustrate the name Skuld from ancient Nordic folk lore.
